Carmine is a long, straight-cut kurta in ruby red Chiffon Georgette, layered over a raw silk undershirt. Ivory and multicolour resham chikankari runs in fine vertical panels down the front, framing an embroidered placket, while a graceful paisley motif rises from the hem like a detail from an old master's canvas. Touches of mukaish, handwork and lace bring quiet shimmer to the layered borders and cuffs. Paired with straight raw silk trousers finished in a scalloped cutwork hem, the ensemble is completed by a sheer chiffon dupatta with silk appliqué and scalloped edges.
